Abstract
⺠Carburization 5H2:1C3H8 gave lower acid site strength but improved synthesis rate. ⺠Solid-state kinetics was captured by a contracting volume model. ⺠Active site on the Mo carbide may be formed in situ via an initial CO chemisorption.
