Abstract
⺠The study examines practice for preventing fuel oil biodeterioration onboard ship. ⺠Above 50 °C, no microbes observed after incubation for 2 days. ⺠Most fungi are destroyed after 5-days incubation. ⺠Heat shock control microbe growth more effectively than common heating treatment.
