Abstract
⺠The first clear observations of NO removal using “activated ammonia” were presented. ⺠Activated ammonia was generated by using a 172 nm VUV excimer lamp. ⺠A temperature window enlargement of 150 °C was achieved at the lower boundary. ⺠The number of photons per mole of NH3 was proposed for explaining NO removal.
