Abstract
⺠Part 1 described a dynamic reduced order model for entrained flow gasifiers. ⺠Part 2 presents results of model validation and sensitivity analysis. ⺠Model validated for four different experimental and pilot gasifier designs. ⺠Model adequately predicts axial profiles of temperature, conversion, species. ⺠Sensitivity analysis shows need to characterize flow field for accurate modeling.
