Abstract
⺠The behavior of ethanol blended fuels is studied in Diesel and Low Temperature Combustion. ⺠The weak ignitability of the ethanol blends requires an engine settings optimization. ⺠High oxygen content of such fuels allows smoke levels and NOx emissions reductions. ⺠These fuels lead to an extended LTC operating range and improved maximum power output.
