Abstract
⺠Impacts of boiler parameters on Hg emissions were investigated at a coal-fired power plant. ⺠The plant was burning low chlorine (Cl) PRB coal. ⺠The Hg reduction at the stack was lower than the power plants which burn high Cl coals. ⺠OHM and mercury SCEM measurements showed excellent agreement. ⺠Boiler modifications resulted in 34.5% reduction in HgT emissions in the stack.
