Abstract
⺠Pyroligneous acid is converted to a hydrogen reach gas under process conditions. ⺠Higher carbon-concentration in the feed leads to reduced specific gas yield. ⺠Higher process temperature leads to increased gas yields especially for hydrogen. ⺠Potassium carbonate catalyzes the reaction to a higher carbon conversion rate. ⺠Lab-scale and pilot plant experiments correlate well.
