Abstract
► K2CO3/LaMn1−xCuxO3 showed higher activity than K2CO3/alumina and K2CO3 itself. ► It showed one third of K2CO3 loss than K2CO3/alumina and K2CO3 itself after reaction. ► The reversible property of oxygen contents is the reason of high recovery of K+.
