Abstract
⺠Salt-free surfactant system is formulated using extended-carboxylate surfactant. ⺠Decreasing diesel fraction increases the amount of surfactant required. ⺠Increasing diesel fraction decreases the viscosity of the microemulsion biofuel. ⺠Viscosity comparable to neat diesel can be achieved with surfactant-based systems.
