Abstract
⺠Numerical and experimental analyses of drying and wetting foam are presented. ⺠Our results suggest that coarsening bubbles are responsible for accelerating drainage. ⺠Forced drainage experiments showed wave-like solutions of analytical drainage models. ⺠Free drainage showed that bubble size change corresponds to liquid fraction change. ⺠Reasonable agreement between experiments and simulations was demonstrated.
