Abstract
⺠This paper relates differences in gas holdup to single bubble velocity profile. ⺠Rise velocity of single 1.45 mm bubbles over 300 cm was measured. ⺠Profiles in F150 vs pentanol and MIBC vs NaCl explained differences in gas holdup ⺠Implications in measuring gas holdup and exploiting in flotation are discussed.
