Abstract
►Wet grindability of a diasporic ore was investigated in a laboratory ball mill. ►Three size-intervals fitted first-order breakage, but the coarsest interval did not. ►The non-first order was most probably caused by the heterogeneity of the material. ►Breakage parameters were back-calculated and validation results are in good accuracy. ►Non-normalizable breakage distribution function was observed.
