Abstract
⺠Solubilities of nicotinic acid and isonicotinic acids in organicsolvents have been determined. ⺠Solubilities are used to calculate Abraham descriptors for the two acids. ⺠These descriptors then yield water-solvent and gas-solvent partitions into numerous solvents. ⺠The solubility of the neutral acids in water is obtained. ⺠The method is straightforward and can be applied to any set of compound solubilities.
