Abstract
⺠Phase equilibria of systems (water + pyruvic acid + high alcohol) were determined. ⺠SERLAS model with 5- and 10-parameters has been performed. ⺠The extraction equilibria were also predicted through the UNIFAC-original model. ⺠Separation factors are proposed for prediction of optimum extraction. ⺠The results were statistically analyzed.
