Abstract
► LLE for UCON + potassium citrate or (sodium or potassium) formate ATPS obtained at 23 °C. ► Salt effect: ΔGhyd and valence number can explain salt ability in ATPS formation. ► Polymer effect: more hydrophobic polymers are more effective in ATPS formation. ► Laccase partition occurred preferably to the bottom phase. ► UCON-salt ATPS can be a suitable biphasic system for laccase extraction.
