Abstract
⺠LLE of (poly ethylene glycol dimethyl ether + tri potassium citrate + H2O) was studied. ⺠The effect of temperature on the binodals and tie-lines were investigated. ⺠Binodal data were correlated with two empirical equations. ⺠Tie-lines were fitted to several models including extended NRTL and modified NRTL. ⺠The entropy is driving force for aqueous two-phase formation.
