Abstract
⺠We study two different compounds, butyl paraben and benzoic acid. ⺠We exam thermodynamics of solid-solution solubility. ⺠This work shows a strong relation between solubility data and thermodynamic data. ⺠We combine DSC results with data over solubility in various solvents. ⺠A more accurate pure solid free energy can be estimated.
