Abstract
⺠Enthalpy of binary mixtures of {benzaldehyde + 1-alkanols} (C1 to C5) determined. ⺠Excess molar enthalpy, partial molar enthalpy, and intermolecular interaction functions were calculated. ⺠Excess molar enthalpy was correlated as a function of mole fraction by using the Redlich-Kister equation. ⺠The experimental results have been used to test the applicability of the ERAS-model, Wilson and NRTL equations.
