Abstract
A novel cerium electrochemical sensor was constructed by electropolymerization. Poly-catechol film coupled with Ce(III) ion-imprinted membrane formed by electropolymerization were introduced as signal amplifying materials and recognition elements for the sensor. The sensor was characterized by CV and DPASV. The sensor exhibited good selectivity and can determination of Ce3Â + in some food directly after simple extraction.182
