Abstract
CuO NPs can coat Au NRs like a film, which can be finished by an in situ deposition procedure. The Au NRs-CuO nanocomposites can be applied to conduct direct electrooxidation of glucose. Thus, CuO NPs can be used as a surface modifier of AuNRs to improve its efficacy in biomedical application and eliminate the application limitation of CTAB on Au NRs.73
