Abstract
The influence of tin ions, complex [NiF6]2â, [SnF6]2â ions on physico-chemical properties of lead dioxide electrodeposited from methanesulfonate electrolytes was studied. SEM images reveal a compact structure with round-shaped grains and X-ray diffractogramms demonstrated that incorporation of tin diminishes the size of crystal particles, while the incorporation of [NiF6]2â causes the increasing of average crystal size. It is shown, that at low polarizations region the oxygen overpotential on micromodified PbO2-electrodes increases in the next line PbO2-[NiF6]2â < PbO2-Sn4+ < PbO2 < PbO2-[SnF6]2â and at high potentials the change of dependence occurs.
