Abstract
A cathodic electrochemiluminescence (ECL) was found when metal nanoparticles (Ag, Cu) modified on a Pt electrode in acid Ru(bpy)32+ solution. The possible mechanism has been discussed according to present results, which implied that metal nanoparticles (Ag, Cu) could be a promising co-reactant for ECL investigations.
