Abstract
► Pulse electrodeposition can generate preferentially oriented Pt (1 0 0) electrodes. ► Preferentially oriented Pt (1 0 0) electrodes show high activities for NH3 oxidation. ► Oxidation of Pt causes a decrease of its electrochemical activity for ammonia oxidation.
