Abstract
⺠Hindered diffusion of nanoparticles is considered in an electrochemical context. ⺠A new computational model for nanoparticle oxidation is developed. ⺠Hindered diffusion is shown only to have a significant effect for large particles. ⺠Nanoparticle impact experiments are successfully simulated.
