Abstract
► Pd nanoparticles were doped onto TiO2 nanotubes by sonochemical reduction of Pd+2. ► The doping of Pd affected the ordered growth of polyaniline on TiO2 nanotubes. ► The doping of Pd increased the surface area of polyaniline. ► The specific capacitance of new electrode was 1060 F g−1 at 2.0 A g−1. ► The effect of Pd on the supercapacitive behavior of PANI was investigated by EIS.
