Abstract
► Amperometric lysine biosensors based on polyvinylferrocenium polymer and platinum nanoparticles were developed. ► Platinum nanoparticles deposited in polymer matrix significantly enhance the performance of the biosensor. ► Biosensors can be applied to the determination of lysine in pharmaceutical samples.
