Abstract
⺠GS, PS, PD and CV method of deposition of MnO2 on stainless steel (SS). ⺠Electrolyte-acidic 1 M MnSO4 and study of the effect of SLS on deposit. ⺠Cyclic voltammetric and charge/discharge studies done using 0.1 M Na2SO4. ⺠Increase of 22% of the specific capacitance of MnO2 in presence of SLS (314 F gâ1). ⺠Increase in capacitance due to increase in surface area (porosity).
