Abstract
► PPy and PNMPy on Au and Au-T-α-CD-SAMs were synthesized electrochemically. ► A particular attention was paid to characterization of polymers by CVs. ► A kinetic result shows that the growth rates of PPy is faster than PNMPy on Au. ► The polymerization growth rates of polymers on Au-T-α-CD-SAMs are slower than Au. ► Significant differences from in situ conductivity and in situ UV-visible were highlighted.
