Abstract
⺠Au is oxidized in alkaline solutions of Et-Sâ to Au-thiolate and Au-hydroxide. ⺠Au-hydroxide is converted to Au-thiolate in a current-less reaction. ⺠Dissolved and surface confined Et-Sâ can be oxidized to the dithiol.
