Electrical double layer and adsorption of iodide ions at the Bi|propylene carbonate interface

► The interface Bi|propylene carbonate has been studied by impedance measurement method. ► It has been shown that the experimental data can be obtained for that interface in a wide range of electrode potentials. ► The adsorption of I− anions has been studied at the Bi(1 1 1) single crystal plane from propylene carbonate using the mixed electrolyte method. ► The adsorption parameters of I− anions have been calculated. ► It was found that adsorption of I− anions is stronger from propylene carbonate than from alcohols.
