Abstract
⺠PtSn, PtSnRu and PtSnOs were prepared by liquid crystalline templating technique. ⺠Their activities for ethanol oxidation were examined. ⺠Tin oxide in PtSnRu and PtSnOs reduced their particle sizes and hindered Pt sites. ⺠PtSnRu and PtSnOs promoted ethanol oxidation better than PtSn. ⺠PtSnOs gave the best activity for ethanol oxidation.
