Abstract
⺠The electrooxidation behavior of lutein was investigated for the first time. ⺠The electrochemical quantitative determination method of lutein was established. ⺠The electrooxidation mechanism of lutein was inferred. ⺠The method can be applied to discrimination and qualitative detection of carotenoids. ⺠The proposed method has been successfully applied in the real sample analysis.
