Abstract
⺠A physical model for the catalyst layer impedance is formulated. ⺠In the limit of small current the model is solved analytically. ⺠In the limit of fast oxygen transport, the analytical and hybrid solutions are derived. ⺠The spectrum is an ideal or elongated semicircle linked to a straight line in the HF domain. ⺠Spectra intersection manifests the oxygen transport loss.
