Abstract
⺠Electrochemical characterization of Pd slowly deposited on Pt(1 1 0) is attempted. ⺠Potential of zero total charge values are determined at different Pd coverages. ⺠Cu UPD, NO reduction and CO stripping are used to determine monolayer coverage. ⺠CO oxidation of Pd modified electrodes was further studied by FTIR spectroscopy. ⺠The completion of the first palladium monolayer is signaled by a minimum in the voltammetric charge.
