Abstract
⺠A lipolytic enzyme, phospholipase A2, is employed as a nanotool for modifying the structure of supported thiolipid films. ⺠Phospholipase catalyzed the cleavage of the ester bond in the thiolipids assembled on the electrode and thus created pores in the thiolipid film. ⺠Doxorubicin penetrates the lipid films through the defects and can be used for monitoring the defect formation by phospholipase.
