Abstract
► Bromide ion adsorption on mercury electrode is studied by impedance spectroscopy. ► Rate constants were estimated by equivalent circuits-mechanistic models combination. ► Adsorption dynamics is well described by transfer function based on Frumkin isotherm. ► Major role of adsorbate-adsorbate interactions during adsorption is deducted.
