Abstract
⺠Electrochemical behaviour of Pt, Pd, Ir and Fe was studied in kraft digester white liquor. ⺠A two-step reaction with elemental sulphur as intermediate was evidenced. ⺠Currents on Pt and Fe depend linearly on sulphide concentration in a wide potential range. ⺠Pt is a promising material for the detection of sulphide in kraft digesters.
