Abstract
► We propose a new fabrication method of bioanode used for an enzymatic biofuel cell. ► We perform the covalent co-immobilization of enzyme and electron transfer mediator. ► Preventing their leakage and achieving good electrical connection improve the electron transfer rate between enzyme and electron transfer mediator. ► It also increases the stability and enhance the performance of enzymatic biofuel cell.
