Abstract
•New microgravity data is presented for average pulse properties in gas–liquid concurrent flow through a packed bed.•Variation of average pulse velocity and frequency is described over the range of flow conditions covered in the experiments.•Comparison with 1 g down flow is used to identify similarities and differences.
