Abstract
⺠Large number of freely-mobile, finite-size particles is simulated by means of fully-resolved DNS. ⺠An analysis based upon Voronoi tessellation is performed. ⺠Acceleration statistics are investigated. ⺠Particle-conditioned averaging of the flow field in the vicinity of the particles is carried out.
