Abstract
⺠Solid-liquid interactions are numerically simulated in presence of a free-surface. ⺠Solid objects are treated as a fluid with a high viscosity. ⺠The model is a fast-fictitious-domain method integrated into VOF technique. ⺠Water entry of a sphere and free fall of one/two circular particles are simulated. ⺠The results are in good agreement with those of the reported in the literature.
