Abstract
LSGM8282 (La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8Mg0.2O3âδ) material as the solid electrolyte for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells was synthesized by solid-state reaction. LSGM material with single phase was obtained by optimizing calcination and sintering temperatures. LSGM electrolyte layer, buffer layer (LDC) and anode layers (NiO/GDC) and its assembly were fabricated by the tape-casting and co-sintering process. Power density, impedance and durability of SOFC single cell were evaluated at intermediate-temperatures. As the result, LSGM showed high ionic conductivity of 0.16 S cmâ1 at 800 °C. The single cell showed good power density of 1.24 W cmâ2 at 2 A cmâ2, ohmic resistance of 0.07 Ω cm2 at 800 °C and durability of 500 h.
