Abstract
- Indomethacin was recrystallized from acetone solutions using carbon dioxide and water as antisolvents.
- Modifications on the morphology and size of the particles were made depending on the experimental conditions.
- Aspect ratio of the crystals decreased from 13 to 2 when habit-modifying agents were added to the system.
- Crystals obtained from the two different antisolvent experiments showed different internal structures.
