Abstract
- Batch-wise SCWG of two types of microalgae was conducted at 385 °C and 26 MPa.
- The total carbon-based gas yield of Chlorella vulgaris was similar to Scenedesmus quadricauda.
- For catalytic SCWG, the total gas yield increased to 80-90% with reaction time.
- For non-catalytic SCWG, the total gas yield reached to 12% with reaction time.
- For catalytic SCWG, the major gases produced were CH4, CO2, H2, and CO.
