Abstract
- We micronized tetracycline using liquid and supercritical CO2 as antisolvent.
- Tetracycline was hypothesized to coalesce following the viscous flow mechanism.
- Effects of process parameters on the coalescence were investigated.
- Precipitates from liquid CO2 were less coalesced than those from supercritical CO2.
