Abstract
- A 3-D CFD model coupled with reaction kinetics for SCWG of glycerol was established.
- A reactor length of 1.69Â m is needed for glycerol gasification with a CE of 90%.
- Increasing the preheated water temperature decreases the side-reaction region volume.
- A 135 feeding angle increases the mixing temperature to avoid the side-reaction.
- The two-injection feeding method suppresses the side-reaction but decreases the CE.
