Abstract
- PLEÂ +Â SAF of rosemary are proposed to provide two different polarity fractions.
- Response surface methodology was used to optimize the separation conditions.
- Rosmarinic acid was concentrated 2.7-fold in the raffinate, compared to the feed.
- Enriched fractions with up to 47% carnosic acid + carnosol were obtained.
- The optimum extract fraction showed 17% of HT-29 cell viability, after 24Â h.
