Abstract
- Laminar co-flows of water and supercritical carbon dioxide were studied.
- Using two different silanes, neutral, and hydrophobic surfaces were created.
- With a low ridge guide the fluid interface was pinned.
- Neutral surfaces favors both well defined parallel flows and well defined segments.
- A hydrophobic surface coating resulted in an unstable system.
