Abstract
- Supercritical assisted atomization was used for the nano-encapsulation of rifampicin.
- Mean particle diameter was between 123 and 148Â nm.
- Encapsulation efficiencies greater than 100% was achieved.
- Sustained rifampicin release over a 17-day period following initial burst release.
