Abstract
- The thermosetting epoxy resin was decomposed and transformed to a thermoplastic resin by supercritical methanol.
- The recovered carbon fiber maintained the shape of the plain fabric and the tensile strength decreased by 9% compared with the virgin one.
- The recovered carbon fiber could be used to make a recycled CFRP, the strength of which was close to that of virgin CFRP.
